Cobar Shire Council is responsible for the maintenance of all local and regional roads and maintain the Barrier Highway and the Kidman Way under a routine maintenance contract with RMS. When work is being carried out, the public must follow the traffic management procedures onsite before and through the work zone. Sometimes our roads are closed for special events or emergency situations. Please note: Any timeframes indicated on this page are indicative only and subject to weather conditions.
