Cobar Shire Council has funding to build a new 88 place Early Learning Centre at Ward Oval. Cobar Shire Council has recently developed a Masterplan for Ward Oval which will guide all future development at the Ward Oval, including this project.

Council recognises the lack of childcare facilitates within Cobar and aim to provide this service to the community and hope to attract more families to live in Cobar.
