Cobar Youth and Fitness centre is a multipurpose centre that offers a variety of facilities to the Cobar community including a kiosk, games room, indoor stadium, squash courts, gym, tennis courts, rest rooms, state park and a café.

Cobar Shire Council have received funding to upgrade the Youth Centre building. Works will include:

• Re-roofing the centre
• A new entrance 
• New kitchen, office/service desk
• New outdoor decking area
• Upgrade of air-conditioning
