The Cobar State Emergency Service (SES) Unit is the primary responder for storm and water damage incidents in the Cobar Shire. The Cobar SES Unit is also the primary rescue response for motor vehicle rescue and general land rescue in the shire under the direction of the NSW Police. Meeting Arrangements: The Cobar SES Unit trains on the second and third Thursday of the month 7pm at the unit headquarters Railway Parade North Cobar.
