Far West Family Day Care and Far West In-Home Care Services are sponsored by Cobar Shire Council to provide quality child care services to the local community and surrounds. Children up to 12 years of age are professionally cared for by registered educators in their approved homes. In-Home Care is a form of child care where children can be cared for in the familiar environment of their own home by an approved educator. Cobar Outside of School Hours (COOSH) Service is a program to provide after school hours care for children from both local schools in Cobar.
Meeting Arrangements: Office Hours – Monday-Friday: 9am to 2pm; Saturday-Sunday: closed.
COOSH Services – Monday-Friday: 3pm-6pm; Saturday-Sunday: closed during school terms at St Margaret’s Church Hall Uniting Church.
