The Cobar and District Mother’s Association (CDMA) meets every Monday and Thursday 9:30-11:30am at the Unity Church Hall. It aims to provide a community hub to encourage the development of social support networks for women with children aged 0-6 years in the Cobar district. CDMA aims to increase access to information on services, programs and activities relevant to antenatal, post-natal and early childhood. It promotes inclusive participation through the organization of regular events and meetings. The CDMA Facebook page is also a positive online community for mothers to support each other and discuss any prenatal questions. Enjoy a cuppa and a chat while your children play in a safe and secure environment. Within our indoor and shaded outdoor play spaces, we offer a range of activities including play dough, cutting and gluing, water and sand play, story time, singing, music, physical programs or free time with a range of children’s toys. The CDMA provides a place for parents and carers to have quality time with their children, also to build friendships with other families, discover local services, find support and lend a helping hand to families in our community.
